When this vehicle was originally purchased, we were an engaged couple with a 100-lb German Shepherd narcotics K9. We chose the Santa Fe because of its size (big enough, not too big), fuel efficiency, options, and price. Eight years and 160K miles later, we still love it. We're now a family of three that include Mom and Dad, a one-year-old boy, a seven-year-old blind beagle and a seven-year-old basset hound. As our family has grown, the Santa Fe has continued to meet our ever-changing needs.

This SUV was 6 years old with 70,000 miles on it when I purchased it. It was in my price range and it's what I wanted/needed, so it was the perfect fit for me. It looked like a new vehicle; interior and exterior was great. It certainly had been taken care of.

My SUV is a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited. It is the best vehicle that I've ever owned. This car is great on road trips and has lots of room for your legs. It could be used for offroad but I don't personally use it for that. Driving it makes me feel in control and very safe. There's a good feel for the road. You don't have troubles keeping up in traffic as it has lots of juice and can do high speeds and feel like you are floating along. The stereo in the Santa Fe plays MP3's and even has an input for a USB memory stick. It's super comfortable with leather seats and headrests. You can hit bumps on the road and not even feel like you did. I've never had to take it to the shop since I've owned it and it runs as smooth as can be. The gas mileage is not amazing but its not a huge gas guzzler either, I get about 25 MPG on the highway and about 20 in town. The sportiness of the SUV makes it absolutely eye catching. The colors that it comes in are a shiny metallic and that adds to the sleek looks.
