The Jeep is an off-roading monster.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a very attractive vehicle. The Limited edition boasts every option available: heated leather seats, moonroof, towing packing, automatic everything!, and a very strong 8 cylinder engine coupled with the smart Quad drive 4wd system. The exterior is sleek and consistent, less boxy, and with no trims for a very fluid look. The interior boasts wood trimming, heated leather seating, individual climate control, the back seats fold down for massive space adjustments and the Bose entertainment system in phenomenal. Underneath the hood lurks a massive v8 engine. The towing strength is immense. This machine will pull almost anything. The 4wd system will definitely guarantee that you will never be stuck whether it rains, snows, or you are driving in a 1 ft. mud puddle. Unfortunately, with every good side there is a bad side. The reliability of the Jeep is not the greatest, and fixes are not cheap! The 4wd system is an all-time 4wd that drives as a RWD until slippage is identified, then torque is sent to the other wheels. It is as smart as sending all torque to a single wheel if necessary, but these system tend to be faulty. When repair is needed it costs a fortune. Not only is it costly to maintain the vehicle's recent technology, but at a whopping 13-15mpg in the city and 16-18mpg on the highway, this beast is a gas guzzler! Towing strength is good, but the shape of the vehicle (like a shoebox) make towing on the highway a challenge if there are many semis passing you. There is a lot of swaying. Regardless, I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who is not budget constrained and who would like a multitasking luxury SUV in their garage.

Sturdy, reliable and capable of off-roading
I purchased my Jeep Grand Cherokee new, and it was my first experience with a Jeep. But I loved the handling and the capabilities of its ability to go off-roading. I do a lot of camping and hiking, and the Jeep was great when I went off the roads and onto different types of terrain. Plus, it looked great.
