The Grand Cherokee is a stylish vehicle with rugged appearance but lots of luxury touches. Living in Florida, I really appreciate the ventilated seats. The advanced technology package offers safety features that are really important in our area, where the multitude of elderly drivers. Many of whom can't see well or are driving when they shouldn't on medication--make traffic a regular hazard. In the 2015 model, lack of Lane Departure Warning however was a notable miss. With just over 30,000 miles on the car I find that the interior has held up well and the build quality has been above average. There have been minimal mechanical or tech problems and gas mileage with the diesel engine is excellent, around 30mpg on the highway and around 26.5mpg in mixed city/highway driving. Unfortunately with gasoline as cheap has it has been lately, I think I overpaid for the diesel engine option given that it was a very expensive option. One complaint about this vehicle is that front seats are not supportive enough for longer driving, and armrests on the front doors and center armrest are not padded enough. There is also not a tinted strip at the top of the windshield, a very big oversight in sunny Florida.

I generally do like this vehicle. It is a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. It is a good quality made vehicle and it performs good. But, it does have a mechanical problem sometimes and it also drinks a lot of gas.

The Jeep has been the best vehicle that I have ever owned. The quality is so far superior to many other vehicles that I have been in. My vehicle performs absolutely perfectly with a few minor flaws in the cruise control options and navigation system. I absolutely love the interior color and it matches well with the exterior color. I've used the in-vehicle entertainment system a few times with absolutely no issues and it will be very helpful once my child is older. The 5.7L Hemi V8 is amazing and gets the vehicle going.
