Three years in a Jeep Wrangler and very satisfied
I always wanted a Jeep, but until I reached my 30s, I never had the salary to afford it. Once I made the jump though, I couldn't imagine going back to a regular car. I initially researched the Wrangler because I wanted a relatively simple vehicle that could be taken out on the beach in the summer. I used to do this with my parents as a kid and wanted to get back to it a bit. Living in the north, I also deal with extremely snowy and brutal winters each year, and figured the four-wheel drive would be an asset in those conditions as well. Thus far, the Wrangler has met all my expectations in that area. I have taken it out on the beach several times, and it has proven extremely valuable in the mud and during blizzards. The Wrangler's reliability (three years and 44k miles, at the time of this review), has been on par with the Nissans I've owned in the past, requiring only scheduled maintenance, new brake pads, and a new set of tires up to this point. One downside is the gas mileage - I average 19-20 miles per gallon in mixed city-highway driving and have to fill up every 280-300 miles. On the other hand, I expected that out of a vehicle with a large V6 and close to 300 horsepower and automatic transmission. While truck-like, the Wrangler drives much better than I expected it would on the road and cruises very well on the highway at 75mph. I'm disappointed the JK series is now out of production, but if it was still available as a new vehicle, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another Wrangler if I were at that juncture.

Great beach car.
I bought the Jeep last year; it was a great purchase. I bought it mainly to ride around in for fun, but it turned out to be a great daily cruiser. It is one of the best cars that I have owned for all around good times. I usually go to the beach two or three times a year. It is one of the best cars for that because you can take the doors off of the vehicle. In most states they allow this, so cruising with the roof down and doors off is great.

Jeep: a woman's best friend
When I first lay eyes on my firecracker red Jeep Wrangler, my heart skips a beat. The ability to go completely topless without the Jeep top and doors and drive off road is one of the prime features. Whether it's on a trail or driving down the main drag, the Jeep can handle whatever the road give it. With it's subwoofer and built-in speaker system, you can drive in style. With a seemingly endless options to tailor your Jeep to your style, it is truly a car you can call your own.
