The 2005 Jeep Rubicon is a two-door sport utility vehicle with exceptional off-road capability. The build quality of this vehicle is exceptional. I have driven this vehicle 90 thousand plus miles, and it has never had any problems or ever been to a repair shop for anything other than routine maintenance. Even using the vehicle off road has not degraded the reliability or cause any maintenance issues.

This vehicle is so much fun to drive. Its rugged design makes it perfect for driving down rugged, unpaved backroads. It is excellent for those warm summer days to get away from the reality of everyday life. I love that mine has a removable hard top that makes it practical to drive during the colder months. The bad part is that its hard to store a hard top and if its removed, rainy weather is an unwelcome problem. It is a little louder than most vehicles, but once the top is off, it's not very noticeable. It's not as smooth as some other vehicles and a bit smaller on the inside. I like the inclusion of a roll bar, as it is a major safety feature. I was originally concerned since I had heard the horror stories of their likelihood to roll over. Fortunately, I haven't had any issues with mine swerving or becoming hard to manage. My friends always want to ride in my vehicle during the summer since it provides a sense of freedom that most other cards don't offer. All in all, it's a great secondary car, but I wouldn't see it being the primary or main family car. It seems too open in design to be a family car, but works great for those weekend getaways!
