Kia Sorrento
I purchased an 2004 Kia Sorrento approximately fifteen months ago. I have driven the car quite a bit putting almost thirty thousand miles on the car since I bought it. It seems to be a durable car overall. The aesthetic design of the vehicle is nice. It's a bit curvy and not boxy at all. I don't like breadbox vehicles. The vehicle is not hard on oil, at every change my oil still looks clean and almost new. It is a big of a gas hog but the 3.5 liter engine packs enough power to get the car going when needed. There has been some issues with the car. There's a short in the computer diagnostic system which can cause it to throw an error code. This code will cause the engine to stall out when idling in gear. However, if you quickly shift to neutral the engine will stay on. I haven't bothered to get it fixed because it's an intermittent issue that hasn't been acting up lately. Also, the automatic 4wd transfer case has gone bad and that's over a thousand dollars to fix (not including labor). I bought the car for its 4wd ability and now I can't use it. This, of course, is an issue when you buy an older car and so I have to accept that. There are also other littler nitpicks but they aren't worth mentioning. Overall, this is a good car. It comes with some of the same problems any older car comes with and I tend to try to ignore the ones that aren't necessary fixes because I'm poor.

Functional car
I have a burgundy Kia Sorento with almost all the available upgrades (the model one step down from complete luxury). I like how high it sits from the ground, the interior is roomy, and it's completely functional. I have AWD, which is especially handy when I have to drive through snow/on ice.
