Buying a car from Carmax is more like regular shopping (for any merchandise) than like shopping for a car and I love that. Car shopping is something I dread but my experience buying a car at Carmax relatively painless. The available cars are listed on their website and I was able to do my research prior to going there; all the cars I was interested in were there, although I recommend you go early in the day to be sure this is the case; I test drove the cars and made my decision. Everyone that works there is welcoming and helpful. I didn't feel pushed or misled at all.

The customer service is fantastic. Everyone was helpful and enthusiastic. When I asked for a quote for a bumper not only did the staff answer any questions that I had they even offered to come outside and take a look at my car. I'm used to waiting a long time for anything relating to mechanics but I was in and out within 30 minutes with my estimate.

They took me around there dealership and showed me there whole inventory. They taught me what was so great about there cars, and sold me on all there various pros and cons of each car, i would highly recommend.
