Zippy and spacious. A good family vehicle.
The Kia Sportage is a good entry-level SUV for families. It works well on pavement and off road. It accelerates well making it enjoyable to drive. Back seats fold all the way down, and harnesses inside the vehicle make it great for hauling small loads. The towing capacity does leave something to be desired as it has a 2000-lb. limit for towing. Gas mileage is also low. I average 24-25 miles per gallon.

Gets you between points A and B, but not in style.
I loved the color of my Kia Sportage. It was a very beautiful, shiny, red-apple color. Living in a big city like I do, dirt was going to play a big part in the its visual upkeep. However, the redness of it never seemed to be affected by the filthiness of the environment. It seated five people comfortably, which might surprise some, looking from the outside-in.
