I own a 2014 Nissan Rogue Select. It was the first vehicle I every purchased and I really enjoy it. I bought the vehicle new so that I would know the driving history. I really enjoy the feel of the vehicle when I drive it. For example, I love how the hugs the curves (it actually feels safer than the Honda I used to drive) and how it does not drift within the lane like any larger vehicles tend to do. I disliked the finish that I purchased with the vehicle (I wasn't paying attention to the rims and they ended up being PLASTIC, which I hate). I also love the gas mileage that my vehicle gets (an average of 25 miles per gallon). I also LOVE the backup camera. It has saved me a lot of headache while trying to parallel park while also preventing me from backing up into oncoming vehicles in parking lots. Lastly, there is a new breaking system in the vehicle that uses rapid pumping breaks. This means that the vehicle is less likely to fish-tail when you have to suddenly stop. Amazing!

Overall, I enjoy my vehicle very much, but I think that is because I have the premium trim. With this trim I have a sun roof, and a Bose sound system, fancy wheels, and the paint last longer over time. Those extra features are why I would rate the car very highly. Without those features, I wouldn't think anything special about my car. It has the gas mileage that was stated, there is nothing special about the drive, and the outside styling doesn't look particularly good. I have had some mechanical issues with it, but these were covered by a warranty I bought when I got the car. These include wheel bearings needing to be replaced and a new transmission (mind you, this car had less than 80,000 miles on it when it needed a new transmission). This was over $6,000 of repairs covered by my warranty. With these things in mind, I probably would not buy another Nissan, as I would have not be in a good place if it wasn't for the warranty I purchased.
