The car handles very well on the highway, gets pretty good gas mileage and is very reliable. Because it has all-wheel drive, it can get in and out of off-road locations with ease. It is also very comfortable to drive and easily fits my family of four. The interior cleans up easily and provides plenty of room for storage and passengers. When I purchased the car, it had 30,000 miles on it. It now has 160,000 miles and is still running like a champ. I have done some minor repairs and one major (clutch), but overall, it has been very solid.

The Subaru Impreza is the best vehicle I've owned. The all-wheel drive is a monster in the bad weather. It gets fantastic gas mileage. There is plenty of storage room. The hatchback model that I have makes it easy to access the trunk. The seats fold down in the back to carry all my sports and outdoor equipment. The heated front seats make commuting in the winter very comfortable. The sound system is great and integrates well with Bluetooth and iPods. So far maintenance has been reasonable. There aren't really too many negatives about the car. This model does not include a back-up camera or integrated navigation system. The heating and air conditioning vents have a hard time reaching the back seats, so any passengers in the back may be cold. The problem with all-wheel drive is that if there is all four tires need to be replaced at the same time (or at least within a reasonable amount of the same time). This could get costly. My model does not include fog lights, which would be a benefit. It comes stock with carpet floor mats and rubber/Weather Tec is far preferred. It does not come with a trunk liner/tray but has a screen that can be used to cover whatever is in the hatch back.
