I love the look of this car. I love the way it drives and it's great in the snow. When we test drove the vehicle, we did not notice how loud the car is on the inside with the windows up on a highway. I definitely do not love that. We had a recall on the passenger side seat that was deactivating the passenger side air bag. We had that fixed free of charge at a Subaru dealer. Within months, the same problem was happening, and Subaru wants to charge $800 to fix it. Not happy at all about that as I'm now driving at times with a passenger and the air bag will not work. Overall, I like the car. I am most concerned about the safety issues with this passenger seat. The car drives great in all weather. It has a large trunk, full back seat so there's room for kids and their things that tend to fill up cars, but it's also small enough to be great on gas and somewhat sporty!

The appearance of the vehicle is very pleasing to the eye. I now have over 24,000 miles on the vehicle and have experienced no rattles or unusual noises inside or outside of the car. The car gets excellent gas mileage both city and highway. It consumes regular gasoline, which with gas prices at an all time low, is very economical. AWD is standard which is a plus in inclement weather. Controls are easily accessible to the driver. Is rated one of the top in safety/crash ratings. Interior is comfortable. Back seats fold down to allow for extra or larger cargo.

I can honestly say this car was not my first choice. However, since I don't have good credit, I was lucky the Subaru Finance Manager at the dealership was able to find me a car that had some features that I consider a must. I wanted a car that was AWD since I live in Southwestern Pennsylvania and tend to have nasty winters. This car does fairly well in that department. I did get it as a dealer certified used car in 2014 and have not had any major costly issues so far. It has had its fair share of small problems such as muffler replacement. Battery replacement that is not unlike the majority of cars these days. The hatchback is also a very important plus for me. As far as the cons go, it has one major one as far as I'm concerned...it's too small. I wanted an SUV but was unable to obtain financing for one. I am retired now so only drive locally. If I have any passengers, it just feels too cramped for comfort. The performance and mileage are average, but it just doesn't have the power I would like for these Pennsylvania hills.
