The 2011 Subaru Outback 2.5 Limited is one of the better cars I have ever owned. It is extremely spacious and comfortable. The Harmon Kardon sound system is fantastic, even though the connectivity leaves a bit to be desired (no Bluetooth playback on the default head unit). The ride is comfortable, and the multiway adjustable front seats are fantastic. Definitely splurge for the limited with the leather heated seats and HK sound system. The build quality is fantastic for the most part. There are some rattles, but much less than other cars in its price range. The wood grain trim on the inside feels a bit out of place, given the rest of the car, but otherwise, it's a well-coordinated scheme inside. The one nagging issue I have is the headlight assembly. The HID lights are around $50/bulb, and go out around every five months. There is no fix for this issue. There is however, a TSB out for them for the life of the car. So if your headlights go out, simply make an appointment with the local Subaru dealership, and mention the problem. They should take care of the whole thing under warranty. Side note - We got this car to carry our Great Dane in. She was over 180 pounds, and while standing was a bit of a tight squeeze, laying down she was totally comfortable.

My car is a bit on the older side so as such it has just a basic radio set up, no AC, and a heater that is slow to start up. It has a lot of space for people or boxes though, and is pretty solid on driving around on dirt roads.
