15 years, 200,000+ miles and still going.
I bought this vehicle in 2008 after two previous owners. I liked it because it had good fuel economy and didn't feel like a thin piece of steel hurdling down the freeway; it has some density and feels like it could take more of an impact than others. The reputable dealer lied to me, selling the vehicle in the dead of winter and telling me that the A/C worked fine. Come summer, I found this was a lie and technicians informed me that the compressor was shot and would need an expensive replacement, which I've yet to commit to. And every summer I get angry at car salesmen while I sweat profusely in stalled traffic. I've had a few small hiccups with it - a dead battery and an ignition coil that went south - both leaving me stranded. One year I put about 600 miles/wk. on it and it came through for me. Other than that, a minor leak has developed (which I'll eventually get around to) and one time I hit a dog. On accident. It was a large dog on a dark, two-lane highway in a 60 mph speed limit. As soon as I saw the dog, I knew it was too late. We hit it going pretty fast. The dog died instantly. My car also sustained damage - a totaled radiator and a structural frame that was bent pretty severely. Fortunately, insurance paid for it. I am sorry about the dog. Pretty good car overall but not glamorous, really. Also the six-CD player has about face CDs stuck in it, and the alternator maybe giving me signs it's ready to take the long nap. On the upside, I've had a friend compare it to a spaceship, which I believe referred to it's capable handling and heavy presence.

A great family car
This is my second Camry, and I may just keep buying them for the rest of my life! Every feature seems to fill a driver's need no matter how long their commute. From the controls on the steering wheel for the radio and your phone, to the back up camera, to the multiple cup holders in front and back—they just want to make your ride comfortable. Our family took a road trip from Eastern Iowa to Colorado a couple of years ago. We were going to be staying in an Air B&B so we were carrying not only our luggage but also food and other items needed for hiking and other activities. We were able to pack everything with room to spare. While in Colorado, the Camry handled the mountain roads and highways spectacularly with superior handling and no loss of power, even on the steepest grades! Gas mileage on that trip was some of the best we have ever recorded. In the Midwest, we go from one extreme to the other in temperature and weather, and the Camry handles it all. It drives well in any weather with a competent driver. With Toyota's/Camry's safety record, I feel perfectly safe—no matter if I'm driving alone or with my family or friends. I know we are under great protection. This car, just like my last Camry, never causes me any worries. And taking into the fact that my last Camry was used, I think that says quite a bit. The fact that they keep adding useful and intuitive features makes me excited to see what they have in store for me for my next Camry!

The Camry is a winner!
I purchased my Camry after no longing needing a minivan. It was great to have a sedan again and I picked a winner. My Camry is comfortable, solid and dependable. I love the hands free phone and Bluetooth capability. I can now sing along with my favorite songs (at the top of my lungs) whenever I am driving! The speaker quality is excellent and quite an improvement from the car I owned previously. Part of the comfort of my Camry is the lumbar support option in the driver's seat which is so helpful on a long drive. The heater and air conditioner are reliable and work quickly to bring the cabin to a comfortable temperature. My Camry has a “tire check” feature that really is a life saver. I recently drove through the construction debris and when I reached my first destination the tire warning light went off. I checked my tires and sure enough one was low. I went in the store and ran my errand and checked the tire again - it was flat! I had to look in the instruction book to figure out how to put the spare tire on. The process was easy and I felt empowered! I drove the car to a tire center and for a small amount they were able to patch the tire. My Camry has about 50,000 miles on it. I will drive it as long as possible and will probably buy another.

There were a lot of options. The prices weren't crazy at least not for the used cars which is what i was there for. The people were nice and actually helpful. I didn't feel like they just wanted my money. They were honest and gave me a good deal. It wasn't a complicated process at all.
