I've noticed that some families tend to stick to one brand of car. My family is a Toyota family, and I wouldn't have it any other way. As my friends' cars have had timing belt problems, engine problems, and various other problems (for example, random parts just falling off), my car has had zero problems. The only slight inconvenience I've experienced was having to take it to a Toyota dealership to get a recalled part replaced -- but they did that for free and I had no indication that there was even anything wrong with it. My car gets great mileage! I don't think I've ever had a tank below 25, and it's not unusual for me to get over 30 in town. On the highway, I average anywhere from 34 to 37. This car is perfect for a college student. It's perfect for driving around town and driving home. Additionally, I live in a northern U.S. State, and I have had no problems with the car reacting to sub-zero temperatures. Even when it had been sitting in a parking lot for three weeks in the snow, I didn't have to jump it! It started perfectly! This car is reliable, economic, and perfectly-sized.
