The car is nice and compact but not small. It gets great mileage. My husband delivers pizza in the car and we are only filling the tank about once a week. The color is amazing, a very bright blue that I can find in any parking lot with ease. It drives smooth, it does not rattle. We have had it for 8 years and the only thing we have had to do to it is replace the battery, which the exception of basic maintenance. If I have a favorite aspect it is the size. My daughter is 18 months old and rides in the back seat. I love that I can reach her with ease to hand her a toy or a bink; but I do not feel crowded at all.

I love the Toyota Corolla. My car is almost 20 yrs. old and is very dependable. Of course there is maintenance, but in cars I've previously owned which were just as old, the Corolla requires the least. I have four children and everyone fits comfortably in the Corolla, car seats and all. It is a great car to drive with awesome performance and easy to maneuver in city driving. A con would be the quality of the exterior. I understand the car is older, but many small things fall apart easily like the door handles, cup holders, light covers. They are all cosmetic or have nothing to do with the vehicle running, but handles can be a pain if you don't have them. I also do not like the way the car decelerates if my foot leaves the gas. It will automatically down shift and doesn't coast well. I like to coast when driving especially on the freeway. The deceleration makes me feel I have to keep my foot on the gas and ultimately use more gas. The gas mileage is great though. A mechanic told me that Toyota Corollas engines and transmissions last. As long as I keep up with maintenance, this car should last beyond 200,000 miles. Overall, this car is reliable.
