I think the Toyota Prius is a pretty dependable vehicle that is especially ideal for local driving. It may not be the most powerful or smoothest vehicle, but there's a nice sense of satisfaction that comes from sitting in traffic on the highway and having your engine be totally silent while it conserves gas. I appreciate the look of the car, as well, and its distinctiveness gives me a heightened sense of ownership.

The vehicle is a hybrid, so it gets great gas mileage. I usually average about 51 miles per gallon. My monthly gas expenses were cut in half after I purchased this vehicle. Also, since this car is a hybrid, it doesn't rely on the brakes often and that limits repair expenses. The vehicle has many safety features, including a back-up camera. The price is also reasonable compared to other similar vehicles on the market. While this is a great vehicle, it's not the best to drive in difficult road conditions. I live where it snows over half of the year, and there are many times where I decide to just stay home because of my car.
