Good overall value and performance.
My 2006 RAV4 Sport is all in all a pretty solid car. It's fairly fuel efficient, considering it's a 2006. It's a small SUV, which is ideal for Southern California roads and traffic.

The Toyota Rav-4 is a great all-around vehicle.
My Rav-4 is great all-around vehicle. It has a smooth ride like a car. As a small SUV, it sits a little higher than a car, so you can see over them and further ahead into traffic. In the back, you can put quite a bit of 'stuff.' It has over 90,000 miles and has not needed major repairs. It has decent power when merging onto the freeway or passing cars. I like that it has a full-size spare tire. The blind spots are minimal. Probably my favorite feature is the side opening rear door. It opens out, not up. It is so very easy to open and close. I wish the new Rav-4s still had this feature! My only complaints are the gas mileage and it burns a lot of motor oil.

I appreciated how much the dealer I worked with helped make it so smooth. I really feel that there was a convenient side to both of us to the deal. As in, as we were negotiating price, I felt as if though the entire time negotiating we both kept each other in mind when it came to it being beneficial for both of us. I left the dealership in my brand new white Camry feeling amazing.
