Best vehicle ever!
I love this vehicle because it has seemed to last forever. I am now at 314,000+ miles on the vehicle, and the only issue I've pretty much had was with driveline vibration that Toyota had a recall on and fixed it. Other than that, it has been routine maintenance. The interior of the vehicle is of good quality that has lasted for 12 years now, and that is with the punishment of children. The stereo in the Tacoma could be better though.

Amazing.
I love the detail and build of the truck. It's a smooth silver with black added onto certain areas on the front and back. It's a 5 seater, but the back is technically a half-cab, so it would be tight to actually fit 5 people in it. For one or two people though, it's great, especially if you're going to work or school and you have things you need to take with you, since you can easily fit them in the back if you put the seat up. I constantly have things in the back, but I always make sure to keep it clean.
It has great gas mileage as well, so I don't need to fill up too often. Saving money on gas is a great pro for any car, so that's one of my favorite things.
It's needed little to no maintenance at all, and even then, the dealership took care of all the problems for me. Anything that's happened to the car that I've needed to fix has been my fault in the first place, so I wouldn't place any blame of that on the car. The small amount of maintenance that I HAVE had to do is negligible though.
The only con of the truck is that it is only rear-wheel drive, so it's easy to get stuck in certain places, and if you drive in bad weather, it can be a bit hard to control at first. That's not a horrible con though, since rear wheel is better for safe, on-road driving.
Overall I really like the vehicle and I'm glad I purchased it. If I could go back, I'd do it all over again and get the same car. I got it at a great price, and the previous owner took amazing care of it, so it was an amazing deal.

Reliable, Sturdy, Great Balance of Independence and Dependability
As a part of a family who is accustomed to mini vans, the Tacoma, as a small pickup truck, was quite the addition to the family arsenal of vehicles. The minor set back is that the truck isn't designed for our family road trips, but everything else we do, it's perfect. Though it's a small pick up, we have a small home, so it sort of works out. It still maintained the ability to transport furniture and appliances home from the store (in less trips than anyone could have ever imagined), as well as a roomy cab for comfort and extra storage. It doesn't have much uphill power, but it still gets the job done when it comes to a bit of off road driving. It's been a great truck to take on fishing trips, being able to keep the cooler in the cab, rods and tackle boxes in the small storage behind the bench seat, and being able to tie anything else we needed in the bed. It's even reliable enough to be able to help other members of the family in need of a truck, as well as making recycling trips whenever necessary. Overall, this truck would be a great vehicle for those who have never owned a truck before, and those who need small jobs done that mini vans and small family cards can't handle. It's also a great transition from smaller vehicles to larger ones. Can't find too much to complain about with a vehicle that has done it's purchasing value of service to the owning family in less than a decade.
