Volkswagen Jetta Usados en Venta en Owensboro, KY

In a nutshell, the VW Jetta is a great mid sized car. We bought it new in 2006 and haven't had any trouble with it to speak of. It is a turbo diesel and gets great gas mileage. It averages about 40 mpg in the winter and 36-38 in the summer months. We only have to fill up about once every two weeks! The car has been on several road trips, even spring break to Panama City with three girls and all their luggage, etc. We could not have packed another thing in the trunk, but it held luggage for four people with no problem. It has also been our "truck" on several occasions. With the pass through door in the back seat we have been able to haul things like shepherds hooks for plants that would not fit in an ordinary trunk. To date, we have close to 200,000 miles on this vehicle. It has been in a couple of minor accidents, but, like the Timex watch, it takes a licking and keeps on ticking. We replaced the timing belt around 100,000 miles at the recommendation of a trusted mechanic. The car has now been passed on to my daughter. I don't have any anxiety about her driving it even with almost 200,000 miles. I believe it is a very safe and dependable car for her. We intend to keep driving it for a good while. When the time comes to buy another car, I would not hesitate to buy another Volkswagen. It has been the most dependable car we have ever owned.

This was my first brand new car after college graduation. I was initially drawn to its body...stylish and cute, the perfect car for a 22 year old! It was great on gas because of its smaller size. I love the sunroof and very spacious trunk. Eleven years and 156,000 miles later, we're still going strong! I've had to put a little bit of work into it, but it has been very dependable. There are airbags all over this car so I feel safe in it and I also feel very safe driving with my 6 year old child. The deep red color gives it some personality, too. The seats are molded to your body and are very comfortable to sit in, especially on long road trips. The Jetta is obviously a smaller model VW, but there is still plenty of leg room. The back seat can be tight if you try to fit three people across, but it's got plenty of space for two (even though there is a seatbelt in the middle seat as well).
