The Volkswagen Jetta gives me enough comfort and a few extras, such as the heated seats, which are a welcome treat in Minnesota winters. I bought this car for the mileage, and it has more than delivered. This car keeps my money in my wallet by providing fuel economy that ranges from 48-52 miles to the gallon. The manual transmission provides this car with plenty of power for passing and stop-and-go traffic. The interior is a leather style, which is easy to clean and is holding up well to the daily use that it receives. The snap in floor mats keep them in place and keeps the dirt and water in them so the carpet does not get ruined. The seats in the back fold down to be able to haul longer items. This does come in handy for hauling a large amount of items. I would recommend this car to anyone who has a long commute or travels for a living. Volkswagen backs their cars with an eleven year, no-corrosion warranty, which they stand behind.

The car has been reliable so far. I enjoy the interior of the car with tan leather seats and black dashboard that looks very stylish. The dashboard is nice with the buttons on the wheel. This makes it very easy to switch dashboard views or control the radio. The trunk space on the car is great, it has a lot of room for a smaller car. I also like the moon roof and the ability to vent or open the entire window. One thing I don't care for is the low temperature sensor. Whenever the outside temperature is below 40 degrees, the car will ding, but living in a cold climate area, I don't need this reminder all the time. The acceleration on the car is very nice; it is very quick to get going which makes it easy to accelerate on the highway speeds. I've driven it about 35,000 miles and have not run into any issues mechanically or electronically. The average gas fuel is very good, I get probably about 35 mpg on average. Another cool feature with the Bluetooth is the ability to sync it with my phone, and I can check where my car is located synced with my navigation apps.

I liked the fuel economy & body style of my Volkswagen Jetta. Unfortunately the engine and transmission lasted longer then the body. I also had many problems with the "running gear". The wheel bearings in the front needed replacement every 8-14 months. Rear bearings would in tighten every 4-6 months. After doing the rear bearings 3 time in 14 months the rear wheels started to lock up going down the road and the lug nuts would loosen. I nearly had a wheel come of driving at 70 miles per hour. When the bottoms of the door began to get rusted ice would build up on them in the front, when removing the built up snow and ice 4 inches of the door came with it leaving a gaping whole in the door.
