Great cross-over, reliable and decent on gas for the size, but no 4x4
The Ford Edge is a great, reliable family vehicle. The exterior is beautifully styled with both curved and straight-edged body lines, projector head lights, a premium chrome grill, and stylish wheels. The interior matches the beauty found on the outside. The amount of detail put into the interior design of this car is astounding. Chrome trims, woods bezels and dash inserts, leather wrapped steering wheel and shifter, and heated, leather, power seats are just some of the captivating, eye-catching features inside the Edge. Aside from the powerful statement it makes with its curb appeal it also performs like a well seasoned veteran of a vehicle. The ride is smooth, bump-free, and quite. It accelerates fairly well for a larger vehicle and can break just as well. Although, it does not perform the greatest in the Michigan snow just as any front-wheel drive vehicle does. It slides or sputters to a stop a bit at times when breaking and sometimes may spin the tires while trying to get going in the snow. I really wish it had selective four-wheel or all-wheel drive. But, it does get great gas mileage for a larger cross-over and the required maintenance is right about what you would expect to pay. All-in-all, it's a vehicle that I have enjoyed owning and driving and would recommend it to anyone looking to purchase this class of vehicle.

Satisfied
I am satisfied with my Ford Edge and how it fits our family's needs. It has just enough room for our family of three. The style and comfort is great. I enjoy that it sits up higher on the road and has a lot of head room and leg room. The steering and handling is satisfactory. It also has a great heating and cooling system that never takes long to heat or cool the whole vehicle immediately after starting. The space in the back is great and I love whole you can fold down the back seats to make a large open space area to haul cargo if needed.
The down sides to this vehicle includes the gas mileage. With a smaller engine I would have hoped for better fuel economy. It is also disappointing how awesome this vehicle gets stuck in the snow. It must have a lot of weight in the back away from the front wheel drive? Of course, the vehicle could better if it had one more row of seating. Without the seating, I would need the vehicle to come standard with either a trailer hitch or a roof mounted cargo rack.
All and all, I would have to say the size and style are the two best feature on my Ford Edge.

I liked this dealership due to the great customer service and friendly attitude of the people helping me out. The prices were competitive compared to other dealerships which was a big deal to me. Also I have to say that I liked the fact that the salesperson wasn't pushy, but instead helpful with helping me find the right fit.
