Inconvenient and time sink
Though the Ford Escape gets great gas mileage and has a sleek look, the inconvenience of having been in the shop multiple times for a vehicle under 50k mi and 2 yrs old has been overwhelming. This vehicle has suffered multiple transmission and coolant issues, along with various safety recalls. Some of the re-calls, such as the fuel line and engine cap coolant leaks, could have been catastrophic with others being large safety concerns, like the restraint system.

This vehicle ride is comfortable, handles well, accelerates well and is loaded for today's lifestyle. Plenty of room for shopping & vacations if needed as back seats recline completely.
