Not a good family car.
The Ford Escape is a good SUV for a couple who do not have anyone riding in the backseat often. There is plenty of room in the back, but the A/C is not good in the backseat. We live in Florida, and it is just not adequate for a family. It takes too long to cool down. This is a big deal in Florida. Otherwise, it is a great car. Very smooth ride. Nice interior. We love the back-up camera. Roomy in the front and back.
