Ford Explorer Is a Reliable and Great Car
I've had my Ford Explorer for a while now and I have to say that it is just a great car. It handles well, I like the size on the overall car as well as all the room I have for storing things. My friends and I would oftentimes go somewhere nice, like the mountains or the beach, and have a picnic while sitting in the back of the car. It's also been an incredibly reliable car. I've had Dora for nearly 10 years now and have only had a few cases where I need to get things patched up in her. I've also been a person to like SUVs, but I really do like how large the Ford Explorer is and the feeling you get when driving a car of this size. The only negatives I can think of at the moment are the blind spots on the sides of the car and how hot that leather interior gets (which of course is no comment on the model of the car itself, rather just my hatred for leather interior when living in hot, hot southern California). The blind spots are bothersome and are caused by thick pieces of interior that line the door windows. They really get in the way when trying to change lanes. Overall this is a great car and I'm glad that I made the decision to buy her all those years ago.

It's reliable and its size is a huge plus!
My Explorer is a deep red color with light silver highlights. It seats seven people, which was a huge factor for me wanting to buy it. To date, it’s my most favorite car that I have ever owned.
The fact that my Ford Explorer seats seven people is a gigantic positive for my family and me. My husband and I have three young children, ages 4,6, and 8. As you can imagine, they are a bit rambunctious and they always need their space. We love how spacious this car is. The kids can all be sitting in the back or rear seat but have enough room to themselves. They never feel crowded. In addition, we often go on family outings with my parents. It’s a huge deal to have a car that seats seven people and it’s even more convenient that we only need one car for an outing.
Our only complaint about the car is its lower gas mileage. I believe the Ford Explorer only offers about 22 miles per gallon. That’s a bit too low for us. We also wished it offered in-car WiFi the way that my husband’s car (Ford Focus Hybrid) does. Internet would bolster the positive nature of any family outings. Other than that, we are more than pleased with the car.
