Ford F-150 - Is it worth it?
My Ford truck is a great vehicle for what I need to do on a day-to-day basis. The handle in this truck is excellent, and after fifteen years, still one-hundred percent reliable. The style is subtle and stylish, with a still modern look. The truck has aged well and has had no major repairs needed in its lifetime. If you are looking for something to do your heavy lifting, this is the way to go. My primary working duties for this truck is lugging around two 600 + pound motorcycles between states. The bed of this truck can comfortably fit two full-sized motorcycles in it with plenty of wiggle room and all the necessary cable hitches. The drive is not affected by the additional weight of 1,200 pounds at all. It still rides the same as with no cargo. Gas mileage is okay. It is a truck after all, and if you are looking for something with good gas mileage or economy, this is not the way to go. This is a work truck meant to do all the heavy lifting. I will say, however, on a full tank, I can get a clean 600 miles with the 30-gallon gas tank. So when I do fill up, I get the most bang for my buck, but gas is a burden with this vehicle as it just requires a great amount. Overall, if I could go back to the day, I chose this truck. I would choose it again. It is without a doubt a great vehicle.

The Ford F-150 Made Me A "Truck Person"
I didn't think I would like driving the Ford F-150 but at the urging of a friend whose judgment I completely trust, I test drove one and I was hooked. I absolutely love my Ford truck. It handles better than any truck I have ever driven, acceleration is surprisingly powerful and smooth, and the ride is incredibly comfortable even at capacity. It's also an inexpensive truck to drive. I bought my 2005 Ford F-150 in 2008 and have driven it daily since I purchased it. I had about three hundred and fifty dollars worth of work done on the brakes and a couple of years later had to have some hoses replaced to the tune of just under one hundred and fifty dollars. Less than five hundred dollars spent on repairs in ten years says one thing loud and clear: the 2005 Ford F-150 is a very well-made, dependable truck. The only thing that I can possibly complain about is the city mileage, which is really not at all that bad. It's just less than I would like to get. However, I'd still happily spend a bit more on fuel than drive most of the other vehicles I've driven that get better mileage because the Ford F-150 pretty much puts all the other trucks and most of the cars I've ever owned to shame.
