I will stay loyal to Ford
After the transmission on my 2003 Ford Explorer went at 280,000 miles, I decided to stick with Ford and purchased a 2012 F-150. I have had this truck for two years and will find it hard to ever go without owning a pickup like this. It is the most practical vehicle I've ever owned. Weather is never an issue, since this truck has no problem driving in rain, snow, etc. The only thing that hurts the fuel efficiency of this truck are the aftermarket tires that were installed by the dealer. My truck has 20" rims which call for big expensive tires. These tires are very knobby and tend to take away from the fuel efficiency of the vehicle. However, the trade-off of these tires is that I can drive through any amount of snow and mud when going to work.

Great Old Truck
Older truck that is still in great shape. Body in good shape, runs great, and interior is mostly good. Just a few small tears in the upholstery is all, nothing major. There is a small area of rust on the hood, but that is the only rust spot that I've seen. The truck is really comfortable to ride in. Radio and the rest of the controls still work and the A/C and heat work great. Tires are in good shape with no signs of bad wear patterns - just the normal wear patterns from normal regular driving. It came with a bed liner which is in almost perfect shape, and the original tailgate had been replaced with an "air-gate" which works great. I have to figure out a better way of loading the back end since it has the air gate as it isn't the most user-friendly tailgate, but that's ok. All mechanicals are in good shape (springs, shocks, brakes, tranny, and the like), so no problems there. This particular truck still has the "wing" windows, which I really like. It's great for people like me who smoke; one can flick ashes out the window without having the main window open during rain or snow. It also has dual-gas tanks, but I can't afford to fill both tanks, so it's ok that the front tank doesn't work. I might fix it someday, but it's not a critical fix, so I'm still happy.
