Ford trucks are #1 for a reason
I like the size and power of my Ford F-150. I have the crew cab version, which means there are front doors and back doors (two doors on each side). The truck feels very solid. It sits high up, which gives you the feeling of commanding the road. I bought the truck used about a year ago, and there have been no problems with it at all. Since the truck is eleven years old, it has some normal wear and tear that you would expect. However, the truck has held up very well over the years. Given its age, it looks a little dated, but that's to be expected because designs change every few years. The look has not affected the quality. There is plenty of room in the cab for my family (me, my wife, and three kids). On days it isn't raining, the truck is a good choice for grocery trips because all of us fit in the front and the groceries fit easily in the spacious bed. The bed also has cleats in it so you can secure anything you are hauling with straps, ropes, etc. There are only three negatives, and those are not very big deals. For one, the seats could be a little more comfortable. I have not taken it on a long trip yet, and I am not sure how me and my passengers will fare when I do. The CD player does not work, and that is a bit of a bummer. The final negative, which is to be expected with a truck that size that has a V8 engine, is that the gas mileage is not very good. It is a small price to pay for the size and power, however. As of this writing, the truck has about 180,000 miles on it, and it is as reliable as ever. On a side note, it has a very good air conditioner, which is a great asset for our Alabama summers.

I love this truck.
I have owned several trucks in the past, but my 2012 Ford F150 is one of the nicest I have ever had. When I purchased it, I added a few accessories to it that make it even nicer. I added a tonnoeau cover to the bed, vent visors to all four doors and simulated chrome to the sides, mirrors and door handles. The truck has a six-cylinder engine, so it gets about 23 miles per gallon on the road and has ample power for anything I need to do. F150 have been the top-selling vehicle for over 25 years, and I think they will continue to be. When I purchased mine used, it had new tires, so I have not had to do any maintenance of any kind since I bought it other than routine oil changes. My wife loves the vehicle because the four full-size doors make it easy to get in and out, and the back seat has more room than any other vehicle we've ever owned. She wants me to drive it when we go on trips because it rides so smoothly. The inside has cloth interior, so it is very comfortable and is neither excessively hot or cold to the touch. The dash has bright and easy-to-read gauges and makes it easy to read from the driver's position. Mine has Ford-installed running boards that greatly assist getting in and out of the truck for driver and passengers. One of the best things about the F150 is that it holds its resale value better than any other truck on the road. I am very pleased with mine.
