Small, maneuverable, great gas mileage
I like my Fiesta for where I am in my life at the moment: A young professional woman with a husband and two rescue animals who does a lot of driving. It does not cost much to run, is very comfortable, and is easy to maintain. It's also cute to look at and fun to drive! It's reasonably priced, so no one can accuse me of being ostentatious, but it's still comfortable, cute, and fun. I look thrifty and smart at the same time!

Not worth the money I've lost over it.
I thought purchasing a new vehicle as opposed to a used one would save me the mechanical hassle all of my friends were facing. Boy, was I wrong. Within 2 months of me taking it off the lot and having a very short daily commute my transmission started acting up. I thought maybe I was being too rough on it as I lived in Florida at the time and people there drive a little bit rougher than average, so I started taking it easy and the problems only persisted. I was young, dumb, and broke but luckily the vehicle was under warranty so I took advantage of that. At least 7 times I have been to the shop because the problem never gets fixed. It got to the point where they extended the warranty for the transmission to 10 years for free. I'm currently taking part in a lawsuit with Ford in the hopes that I can get something back from this nightmare and huge financial loss. The only good things about this car are the gas mileage and the decent trunk space for a small car. Even the cheap price tag isn't worth it.

Functional but not exciting
My Ford Fiesta SE is a great car -- when you consider its purpose. I am a person who loves performance vehicles, and the Fiesta is definitely not a performance car! Having said that, it has 120hp which, given its size, is enough so that I do not feel endangered on the highway. I can pass other vehicles and cruise comfortable at high speed. The engine has a reasonably throaty sound but would not be considered sporty. The transmission is definitely not the best. The manual 'sport mode' leaves a lot to be desired, as it take about three seconds for it to register each gear change. My air conditioning can take a while to get cold and unfortunately starts getting warmer under hard acceleration! The outside of the vehicle is well designed. The interior is roomy given the small size of the vehicle, and the trunk is also quite large considering. Ford's Sync infotainment system is terrible. It is the most confusing, least user-friendly audio system I have ever used in a car. Interior material quality is higher than that of other vehicles in its class, in my opinion. Negatives aside -- as I said in the beginning, this is a commuter car. When you do not expect anything more of it than that, then it is perfectly serviceable and relatively comfortable to drive.
