Ford Focus Long Beach, CA OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS
Merced, California
Great family car.
The 2004 For Focus Wagon is a great family car. I have owned it for a few years now, and driven it over 30,000 miles and it has not failed me once. Aside from regular oil changes and change the tires once, I have not had to replace nor fix anything on the vehicle. It has taken us on many family trips, and the fact that it gets up to twenty-nine miles per gallon on the highway are a huge plus! Road trips to visit the family in southern California have been a breeze on the pocket due to the great gas mileage. I would certainly recommend this car to friends and/or family that are in the market for a reliable vehicle that is great for the family. I've owned smaller cars like the Honda Civic, but having the extra space in the trunk with this wagon have been a blessing! Not once have I had an issue when loading luggage. It's also great on grocery trips where I am buying food to last the week. It also has a ski rack on the roof of it, but I have yet to use it. The ski rack would certainly have gotten more use had it not been for the ample truck space. The kids love it, my husband loves it, it's a great car for the whole family. I'm really happy we purchased this vehicle, and wouldn't hesitate buying a newer model again in the future. It's my first ford that I have owned and driven, and I have to say that I don't know why I didn't own one sooner.

Dependable, but not flashy.
Overall, my 2005 Ford Focus is a dependable, inexpensive option for an every day car. I've used it for daily commute and one long distance drive, and it has handled everything I've asked it to do perfectly. It doesn't cost much to keep it gassed up, and it seems like it has a pretty good fuel efficiency. I've driven it through the desert, and I can say that I trusted it completely to not have any problems or strand me out there unexpectedly. I have never spent any money on it besides regular oil changes either, and I got the car when it was at over 100,000 miles. It's dependable and simple. The main drawback for me is that it does have a strangely loud motor, especially in the morning when you turn it on for the first time. It sounds like it is running poorly, even though it is not. It runs fine, you'll just never be sneaking up on anyone with it. As for transporting, I use it to transport my bike on a bike rack, but there is not a whole lot of room for too much in the trunk or in the back, and it does not really lend itself to a roof rack. For the most part, it's a great car and it absolutely is a good choice for an every day, commuter car.

There wasn't too much hassle with getting them down to a reasonable price for my fiancé's car. They have been my family's go to car dealership for years as well. When it came time to look for a car, we didn't feel harassed and they gave me my breathing room. Once she was ready to buy, everyone was extremely helpful before and after negotiations.

Wonderful staff. I didn't feel like we haggled when we were there for 3 hours. Accommodations were nice. Didn't feel like I was being sold to. Extra benefits because we were buying from them made it feel worth it.
