Ford Focus Review
The review I am writing about is for my 2005 Ford Focus. It's a hatchback car that I got when I was in college. It currently has a lot of miles as I've used it as a commuter car for the past 10+ years. I've taken it on drives from Los Angeles to San Francisco and back many times so being that it's more than 10 years old, it's likely in its last few years.

Gets me from point A to point B.
It performed well at first, but soon after getting the car, the driver side mirror came off. And, the same thing happened to a friend with the exact same car. This leads me to think that the build of the vehicle is pretty poor. Items in the interior weren't very well made either. The middle armrest has broken and the seatbelt covers also came off. So, all in all I'd say that the attention to detail was not very good on this make and model. It drives okay. It can be loud when driving, even when I've just gotten it repaired. Unlike newer cars that seem to be very quiet when they are operating. I'm grateful for it because It gets me from A to B, but I don't get excited about driving. It's very basic - no bells and whistles at all. The design is basic and not a lot of creativity went into making this car. The tires were also an issue. It seemed as though I was always having to get the tires repaired or changed. And, I didn't like how the dealership overcharged for repairs and also tried to get me to buy services that weren't really needed. Overall the car is fine. It does what it needs to do - but I don't think I would recommend it as a purchase. It wouldn't be my first suggestion.
