l like it.
Overall I like the car, it has excellent gas mileage, handles quite well, and has enough room for what I use it for. The price I paid was good and the overall value is quite high. I opted for a two door version so I could control egress from the rear seat to better protect the children. There are a few things that I either do not like or that I feel could have been better designed. The body design is such that when glancing back from the driver's window to ascertain safe maneuvering distance, your vision is partially blocked by the upswing in the car's rear window threshold and the flare up of the body itself. It hampers visibility and is annoying. I also find it detrimental that the wipers do not have an adjustable delay function. Where I live there are often times when the wipers must be used but, at the factory setting, causes the wipers to squeak as the moisture content is low. Additionally the car heater seems to take longer to warm up the interior than other cars I have owned. Other these minor things, I really like my car and would buy another when the need arises.

I have been loyal to the Ford brand since I was 20 years, and I am moderately satisfied with my Ford Focus. Aesthetically, I love the Sangria Red color - it is not too bright, and not too dark. Furthermore, I love the body style. It looks similar to the Fusion, which is a model up from mine that it is very sporty looking. I love the stitching in the interior leather seats. Moreover, I love the placement of the radio, and the additional buttons to control it on the steering wheel. I do like the touchscreen, but there have been quite a few updates to debug it and I know newer models have an entirely different system all together. Nonetheless, I am satisfied with it. The vehicle could get better gas mileage. However, I do far less driving with this vehicle so it balances out. It has really great driving performance, and handles very well for an economy sized vehicle. The only performance issue I have is that there is a known transmission problem, and I have had my car in the shop several times for warranty-covered repairs. It is such a known issue that the maker has extended the powertrain warranty to cover this issue long term. The inconvenience of having these repairs done can be frustrating since there have been more than two. The cost of the vehicle was a little pricey, but I got a good deal on my trade in which balanced it out.

Very friendly, no pressure at all to get the car. The salesman presented me with the numbers and then let me make my own decision on my own time. He was friendly, and answered all my questions. Also suggested a few other cars I might want to check out.
