Runs like crazy
This truck was purchased used with the odometer already turned over, ten years ago. It always starts and looks shabby. However, you couldn't ask for a more reliable vehicle. It is red with a grey interior, has a bed liner, and electric locks and windows. It's a cab and a half with fold down seating for extra passengers. This truck has a manual transmission and had never needed any work other than the usual - battery and oil changes. We change the oil every 3,000 miles, as did the previous owner. Rust is its second color, but living in the Midwest, you expect salt to effect the body with this age of truck. I would highly recommend this brand of truck based on the longevity we have enjoyed, as well as being payment free. Paying cash was the right way to go for this purchase. We often fight over who gets to drive it, as it rides and drives so smoothly. We also pull our camp and boat with this vehicle. I wouldn't hesitate to take this truck anywhere in the USA. We have looked far and wide for another vehicle that would treat us so well. Our 2016 Focus could take a few lessons from the older and wiser truck.

The truck is reasonably dependable.
This truck was responsive and had a solid feel to it when I first bought it - which was when it was at about 80000 miles. With decent tires, you can actually "off-road" in it. It seems to have the Ford reliability. The sliding rear window is nice - although this feature makes it easier to break into.
