Good Value
The Ford Taurus from this era remains a popular car for a reason. A four-door sedan, it's spacious, comfortable, and provides a smooth ride. The rear seat folds down for extra storage, there are clips for baby seats, and the radio quality is pretty good. The SES model I got came with a little more kick to the V6 engine, so it was slightly less efficient than comparable Taurus's or competitors. Still, I appreciated having the option of a bit more acceleration. It comes with a spare tire, but it's only a donut, not full sized.

Dependable Workhorse
I'll put it this way: The reason I had a 2004 Ford Taurus to review was because of this old war horse, my very first car, the 1994 Taurus. I got this car when I was a teenager, shortly after getting my license. Even back then it was a cheap buy. With over 100k miles on it to start, you wouldn't think it would be the most dependable vehicle, but it was able to put up with most of the abuses a young dumb kid could throw at it and keep rolling.
