Ford Taurus Uniontown, PA OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS
South Brooksville, Florida
Very good and dependable car.
It is mid-sized but accommodated both my 6'3" chubby hubby and my 5'0" short self. It is comfortable to drive and has 4 doors. It gets very good fuel mileage and is affordable to have repaired. When I say have repaired, it is not a problem car. I'm speaking of routine maintenance and is a common enough car that I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere in the country and any mechanic could work on it. It is an attractive car in a conservative sort of way, stylish but not flashy. It is still an attractive car in spite of it's age. The interior is holding up very well even with the addition of the 65 pound coon hound that we added to the family 4 years ago and goes practically everywhere with us. There is only minor wear to the carpeting and the dashboard vinyl still looks good.

Decent car
This car has performed pretty well for me and held up for several long trips across the east coast of the US. I like its range of speed and how long it has lasted me, but I don't like that I've had it repaired multiple times or its gas mileage. The seats are not the most comfortable in the world. It is, however, an easy car to drive in my opinion. It was my first car, and I used it to learn how to drive.

Budget Workhorse
I appreciated the comfort of this station wagon, at least as long as the air conditioning kept working. When it stopped working, Pep Boys said it was a broken part that they couldn't get, even from Ford. The engine ran well and was good at accelerating onto highways. Mileage per gallon was close to the rate when the car was new! The worst issue was the transmission wore out in first gear, and the higher gears followed in deterioration a year after that. A comfortable and efficient used car.
