When I first purchased this car, I was a little worried about the high number of miles on it (125k). However, the buyer had the car inspected by a close family friend who deals in auto repair and this person assured me the car was in good working condition. Without any noticeable defects, and after taking the car for a test drive, I decided that I would purchase the car. The color wasn't really my style, but I grew to like it.

The '02 Taurus isn't a flashy car. It's a solid, dependable car that has given me few problems in the years I've driven it. Leg room is something that is needed for me and my family, and this car is able to give us that with a little wiggle room so that everyone can be comfortable. The Taurus is also a comfortable ride for long trips—Illinois to Florida with four people—a little cramped, but still doable. The only thing that is annoying is that the driver’s seat does get a little uncomfortable after an hour or so of driving, but that is also adjustable. It’s just a matter of getting it right.
