Used Honda Accord for Sale in Joliet, IL

My 2000 Honda Accord has been extremely reliable. I have not had any mechanical issues with it, and it always runs reliably. The only reason I wouldn't recommend this vehicle is the age. I like this car enough that I will be looking for another accord when I am in a position to get a new car. I think the quality of the interior is excellent. At seventeen years old, the leather is still in good condition, and all of the panels inside the vehicle are holding up very well.

I've been driving my 2003 Honda Accord for roughly eight years now and have put nearly 150 thousand miles on it. It has started reliably every single time I tried to turn it on in subzero winters, blazing deserts, and on top of mountains. It has had problems along the way, as any aging car would, but has not had any problems that were not easily fixed. Most of the problems that have appeared either had to do with wear and tear, like a leaking seal, or are problems many Hondas had from that time. I never had the transmission problems that were semi-common in the Accords, and since they haven't appeared yet, I doubt they will before the electronics or something else goes bad. Style-wise it isn't the flashiest of cars, and being tan with faux wood panels, it looks decidedly older than most other cars on the road. I never minded much, but it's certainly a downside if you like to have a flashy-looking car. The v6 engine has always been amazing and will be hard to give up when the day comes. It's fantastic to be able to accelerate quickly and safely when the need arises.

This review is in reference to a 2003 Honda Accord that was owned from 2008 through 2018. In the 10 years of ownership, I have had minimal issues with this car and have put over 100,000 miles on the car in those 10 years driving it across the country. It's a terrific midsize car and the perfect size for a college student needing to move out and into her first dorm room (as was the case for me). The v8 engine was excellent and the pick up on the car was great. The fuel economy on this car was also excellent. The midsize car comfortably seats five - two in the front and three in the back row - while also having ample room for luggage in the storage/trunk compartment. In summary, this car is comfortable, has excellent interior leather seats and beautiful design, performs well on highways and casual cruising, is extremely reliable, and a great bang for your buck!
