I love my Honda, and she loves me.
I have a little gold Honda Accord I affectionately call Hilde. She got me through college without any major repairs. She was used when I got her, but I’ve kept her up. The only thing I’ve had to replace on her is a single timing belt and the alternator. Easily my favorite car I’ve ever owned. The front seat is roomy, it’s easy to park, not too long, and the boot can hold just about anything. It has a good turn radius, easy steering, and is so inexpensive to fuel up. I can’t talk enough about how much I love my car. All she needs is oil changes and routine maintenance and I see myself getting another 100,000 miles out of her easily. She’s got 100,000 already! My only issue is that the gas door locked on day and never decided to open, so we had to get the latch mechanism disabled at the dealership. Other than that, no trouble. I love the remote entry and she even has a good radio. I would definitely recommend a Honda to a friend.

Reliable
I bought my 2001 Honda Accord used from Craigslist. I enjoy that the car has a V6 engine and gets decent gas mileage. It also has plenty of room in the backseat for my medium-sized dog. The interior is clean, and the grey color matches the outside silver color. It handles well and has minimal issues mechanically. I also really enjoy that the parts are easy to find if there is an issue. The only problem I have with the car is that there is a check engine light that came on for the transmission. The code is saying that I would need a new transmission; however, I have been driving the car for six months with no issue. I believe that it may be a smaller issue than what the code is showing. It may even be a solenoid.

Thoughts about my Honda.
This is a reliable and sturdy car. I have had it for a little over two years, and after a minor setback with the engine needing to be replaced, it has done very well for me. I commute to work each day for an hour in total, and even though I do have to fill up on gas more than I would like, it hasn’t given me any problems. I purchased this from a friend of my fathers, and they rarely used it, so it was in very good condition when I received it. The backseat looks brand new since they didn’t have small children or pets to mess it up. The driver and passenger side show a bit more wear but nothing that some cleaning and polishing can’t fix. I haven’t had to take it into the shop much, just the usual oil change and I put some new tires on it. I installed a new sound system since it only accommodated a CD and radio, and I need more options than that. The only thing I really dislike is just the build of it and how low it is. But that wouldn’t be an issue if I lived in the city. I moved a good portion of my clothes and other bedroom items when I first moved out of my parents’ house, and the trunk is amazing for housing so much storage.

The salesman was very friendly though he was new and had to look up info. The finance manager pushed a lot of features we really didn't want or have a need for. Like any other car-purchasing experience, it took a long time.

It's one of the local honda dealerships in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, they have a good reputation and it is frequently that you hear about their promotions on the television, radio, or internet. They have friendly dealers that don't fit the stereotype of car salesmen. They also have a good repair shop that takes care of problems for a small fee.

Worked with me on a very stressful Black Friday morning, brought the price down to the point that my bank was willing to finance and worked with the fact that my down payment was dependent on the wreckage sale of my previous car.
