I have had this car for nearly a decade, and it has only infrequently required any high-level maintenance. It runs silently, efficiently, and reliably; the gas mileage is fantastic for its size. I have to drive up and down 8.5 hours to see my husband, and the car never has issues with running, anything but a perfectly smooth ride, or power issues. Do be aware, however, that the electronics partition is directly next to the air conditioner so at some point you may need to have a professional protect the electronics component; if you don't, your car may periodically stall on hot days when the AC is cranked. The primary drawback may come with interior choices; I chose a light colored fabric which shows dirt and grease too easily and is challenging to clean. If you are a person who tends to wear dark colored fabrics, try to get an interior color choice on which lint from your clothing won't show - because believe me, this car will find any lint that exists and magnify it. From what I understand, the car may also need to have airbags replaced - a known issue with this make and model.

This is one of the best cars I've ever owned. Although, I've only owned two. The engine is quiet but not too quiet as to not hear the super satisfying purr. The driving mechanic is very smooth, and the steering wheel is very easy to control. I love the heated seats and the split A/C so each person could have a different temperature.
