The Civic is great because its compact without feeling small inside. It's almost 20 years old and is going on 200,000 miles yet I haven't had any major issues with the engine. The interior has held up nicely over the years as well. I'm the second owner and still there are no major tears or scratches in the upholstery. Since the Honda Civic is such a popular car, replacement parts are really cheap and easy to find. The engine is quiet and strong. The sound system still sounds crisp and clear. My Civic has great fuel economy. It also has great pick up on the highway. I love that it sits close to the ground. It almost feels like a small sports car without actually being so. If I do need to make any repairs to the car, most of which I've done myself, its easy to find helpful videos on YouTube. There is a massive community of Civic enthusiasts. All of the major amenities still work great like the AC and heat. The truck is room and the back seat goes down which is very convenient. It handles great, sticking firmly to turns.

I have a plain jane no-frills Honda Civic, and I absolutely love it. Its body is sleek and streamlined, and I always say it looks like a bullet. There is nothing I dislike about the car, except for the cheap plastic oil dipstick, which is difficult to read and the recall on the sun visors, which were extremely annoying to deal with. I don't even mind that the car doesn't go from 0 to 60 very fast, but it is absolutely reliable in every way.
