Solid choice for families
The 2010 Honda Odyssey is a solid, reliable family hauler. We have a family of five and the Odyssey is used to commute the kids around town and distant road trips in safety and comfort. The DVD entertainment system helps to keep our passengers quiet during these long journeys. Features like a back-up camera help keep those outside the vehicle safe while the driver has the vehicle in reverse. There is plenty of space for every member of the family with room storing lots of luggage and supplies. Sits can be folded down or removed to provide more room for weekend errands. After many thousands of miles of driving, we have encountered to major mechanical issues. With regular maintenance, we foresee many thousands of miles more in the future without a problem. As for things not to like? It's a minivan. It's a utility vehicle to get the job done, which it does well. But, when the phase of your life comes when that job is no longer necessary, I doubt you'll miss it once you decide you don't need it. Minor things to can be better and probably improved in later models is the screen for the backup camera is small and imbedded in the rear view mirror. It doesn't come with any guide and is hard to see. The controls to the entertainment system could be easier to use. For example, the screen in the second row will fade or turn off if you put on your headlights. Navigating the options for the system can be easier.

Wonderful family car.
My husband and I have owned our 2016 Honda Odyssey SE for 18 months and are in love with how versatile and useful it is. We have taken it on a 12-hour road trip down the eastern coast, and it held up remarkably well. We were able to have the entire family of four (including two car seats) comfortably travel together with minimal stops. Our gas mileage during this all highway trip, averaged around 23 mpg. This topped SUVs that we owned in the past. The ride is incredibly smooth, and it has required very little maintenance to date. The amount of room is incredible in all two rows of the van. My husband is 6'5" and doesn't fit well in most vehicles; however, he has ridden in all three of the rows very comfortably. He doesn't even mind getting into the third row for extended trips if needed. The extras that are included with the SE are a huge bonus. I love the ease of use of the built-in vacuum. It makes cleaning up after three young children a breeze. Also, the built-in entertainment center comes in handy for long trips. The thing that separates the Odyssey from comparable minivans though, has really come in handy for my family. We have three children under the age of four, which means three kids all in car seats. The Odyssey's middle-row seating separates. This gives enough room to easily fit all three car seats in one row, instead of having to use the back row for one of the children. This means that I don't have to climb into the back of the van to buckle in the third child and also means that the back row can be folded down to carry large loads while also having the children in tow. It is an amazing feature to have, especially when needing to travel with the kids and our dogs at the same time.

The prices offered by the dealership were very reasonable. Not only that, but the staff was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. Everyone there seemed engaged in their work. Whenever I've taken my car for servicing, they have always been very quick and efficient in their work, and they have never harassed me for excessive services on my car.
