Honda Pilot Baltimore, MD OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS
Columbia, Maryland
Great mid-size SUV.
Overall this is a great car. It has 3 full rows of seats and a lot of cargo space with the back row folded down. It holds all our sports gear even with the last row up -- tents, team seat benches, wagons, etc. It's worked well for trips without needing an overhead cargo carrier. I really like that it holds so much but also has a good turn radius. I can make lots of U-turns that would be 3-point turns in other vehicles. The inside is designed very well with lots of storage space between the driver and passenger seat. The emergency brake does not take up prime real estate; it's on the left floor out of the way. The only thing I don't like is the gas mileage. It's averaged about 18 mpg lifetime and that's less than what was advertised. It hasn't malfunctioned and has just required normal maintenance and repairs as you would expect for any car. It's such a common car that it's pretty easy to get replacement parts. It rides high because it's built on a truck base, unlike a minivan. This means that I can easily go up on curbs when needed and make my own parking spot at kids' tournaments with scarce parking. It's a boxy design which means that the passengers on the sides have lots of headroom. It's really easy to install a car seat into. It also has a hard drive that you can save music too. I have a large chunk of my music collection on it. Overall I'd recommend this car pretty highly.

Great buy. Great SUV.
I like everything about my Honda Pilot. It has plenty of room for five adults and luggage. It does very well on short trips or cross country and mpg is pretty good, about 360 miles per tank fill. It is now twelve years old, and I've only had to replace the tires (once), battery (once), and brakes (three times). Driving is extremely comfortable and ergonomic. The heated seats are great as well as the ability to put them in nearly any position that you can configure. Even a nearly flat lay down in the event of finding yourself in need of a nap. There is plenty of front seat storage, and you can keep your sunglasses in a drop down tray that is easy to work when driving. The heated outside mirrors are nice when there is frost or icing. The second-row seat has a pull down for passengers to place their drinks or snacks while watching their DVD with Honda-supplied wireless headphones. The radio/CD player works very well with great sound quality. Although you cannot fit an adult in the third seat comfortably, there is still plenty of room for small children.

O'Donnell Honda had a wide selection of certified used vehicles that were in excellent condition. After looking for a small SUV at many local dealers, the other dealers didn't have anything that was reasonably priced or in as good condition in stock. O'Donnell Honda had so many vehicles in stock, it was easy for me to find the right one, and the CR-V I bought has only required basic maintenance.

The dealership is easy to get to and cheap compared to the area. The cars are good but do your research beforehand. The salespeople are just like all used car salesmen so beware. Make sure you ask them to go for a test drive and to haggle. If you see or hear any problems than ask them to fix it.
