Best bang for your buck.
I purchased a used Hyundai Elantra back in 2015 from a certified dealership. This was a good choice. The car drives very smoothly and is easy to drive. The pick-up is decent for a car in this class as I'm getting to the next stop light before most people (and I don't have a heavy foot or anything). I got it in Indigo Night which is a great color for this car. It's very sleek, and nobody judges my choice when I pull up to a bar or a restaurant in this thing.

Very affordable and reliable
My current car is a 2008 Hyundai Elantra. Overall, I would say I am very satisfied with this car, and it has been an excellent commuter car for my daily commute. Though it does not have the convenience features of newer and more luxurious automobiles, I have always been more of a minimalist in my approach to cars, so this Elantra fits all of my basic needs.
