Good quality vehicle for the price!
The 2012 Hyundai Elantra is a good quality vehicle for the price. It gets excellent gas mileage (around 38 miles per gallon highway and 32 miles per gallon city) and has enough performance for the needs of an average person. The exterior is pleasant to look at and fairly unique compared to other vehicles in the same price category. One negative that I have experienced is that the door handles can develop a vertical crack on them, despite my best efforts to carefully handle the car. The interior features XM/Sirius radio compatibility as well as a Bluetooth connection. The interior is thoughtfully designed and easy to understand. The seats are comfortable, and there is plenty of legroom, especially in the rear. The trunk is also spacious. There is minimal wind noise while driving, and the car is easy to handle and rides smoothly. I would have liked to have heated seats and lumbar support. A small nitpick that I have is that the rear window is difficult to clean on the inside due to the angle of the window. Overall, I am very pleased with the vehicle and would definitely recommend it. An overall excellent vehicle for the price!

This car has a very smooth ride, even though it is a small car and low to the ground. It also gets great gas mileage. The air conditioner in the car is excellent. The car is short on technology, but I have no distractions while driving. I like the appearance of the car. It is very sporty. The car has many safety features that I value, including adjustable seat belts and air bags. The car has a place to plug in my phone to charge it, and I take comfort in the fact that I will not have to drive with a dead phone. The car also has a detailed owner guide that tells me all I need to know. The car seems to need less maintenance and few checks than other cars I have owned (according to the owner's guide). My favorite thing about the car is the warranty. I do think that this car was very cheaply manufactured. I know that a heavy car is not necessarily safer than a lighter one, but it sometimes freaks me out how light the car actually feels. I am afraid that in a collision, the car might crumple metal on me. The car doesn't seem to have much power going up hills.
