I love it
I really love this SUV. I have always wanted one with power. I love how I feel like I'm higher up than everyone on the road. I don't like that I don't have a moon roof. I also don't like that it is not a 4x4. Overall, I do like it for what it is. I also wish it came with tinted windows. The Santa Fe is perfect for long road trips. My kids love how the seats go back in the back seats and the could take a nap if they need it.

The Hyundai Santa Fe is a fine SUV
I think the Santa Fe is an equal among its peers. I like the durability and reliability of the Hyundai Santa Fe. I love the higher ground clearance and the secure feeling I get when I am inside. We have driven it in the sand, snow, in the city and in the country. It gets decent gas mileage if it is all highway, efficiency drops when in town. I like that it uses low octane (87) fuel. We have experienced some cracking of the leather on the steering wheel and seats due to sun exposure. The vehicle needed an AC compressor at about 180,000 miles. My biggest complaint is that this vehicle has a timing belt instead of a chain. This vehicle has changed my perception of the Hyundai brand.

The salesman was very enthusiastic about the car, although admittedly did not know all the features. When I took it for a test drive he kept telling me to take it around for another block so I could really get a feel for the car. In fact, we went for two test drives to make sure it was really what I wanted.
