Snow no problem
I purchased my Jeep Liberty for two reasons. 1) I needed a taller vehicle to cart my niece around in. My previous vehicle required me to pull the front passenger seat forward, bend down and almost get on my knees to get her in and out. My Jeep Liberty allows me to pick her up and help her down at waist level. 2) I live in Ohio where there are some definite moments of heavy snow. I had gotten stuck in the snow a few times in my previous vehicle and had to be pulled out. This Jeep runs right over it with a quick switch to 4 wheel drive. I like that the exterior metal of the car is strong and solid. At one time I had an accident in a Mazda Protégé, going no more than 25 mph and the car was totaled. The metal was thin and not made for impact. This past October a car rear ended me in my Jeep. The car hit my back bumper. My bumper had a few cracks and needed to be replaced. The hood of the man's car who hit me was barely drivable. The hood of the car was smashed and folded into the shape of a V. Fluids were leaking out of the bottom and the frame was cracked. My niece was in my Jeep with me at the time and I was greatly pleased with how well the Jeep took the impact, especially with precious cargo inside.
The only thing I do not like is the gas mileage. However, I will gladly pay more in gas to ensure I am in a well built vehicle.

Wish I could own this car forever
The ruggedness and dependability of the Jeep Liberty is exceptional. For the snowy winters we get in Northeast Ohio, I would not want any other vehicle. I now have over 190,000 miles on the Jeep, and over the 11 years I have owned it, I have not had to have many repairs. Over the last few years, our family has grown by three, and the Jeep is actually large enough to fit three car seats in the backseat. I feel very safe while driving the kids around in the Jeep. Another nice feature is that the back seat will fold down giving ample storage space in the back. I was able to take my fishing poles to my favorite off-road fishing spot and didn't have to take them apart. That led to more time fishing and less aggravation with tangled fishing line! If there were any cons with the Jeep Liberty, it would be the relatively poor gas mileage and the fact the interior is rather noisy; you feel every bump. That's part of what a Jeep is, but I can't help to think that the interior could have been made a little quieter. Overall, I am going to be lost when it comes time to part with this Jeep Liberty. I hope I can find something I like as much.
