Used Kia Sportage for Sale in Bronxville, NY

I have had this car for 14 years, since it was one year old. I know my Sportage and am pleased that it has held up as well as it has. It has an adequate trunk space, but the trunk is a pain to access, since you need the ignition key to open it. It has large windows, which is great for the kids since they can see outside of the car easily from their car seats. But it's a small SUV; probably too small for even a family of four.

Bought ten-year-old car with cash back when it had 125K on it for $2k. The $15 relay gave it spurious computer codes that were different all the time. That's why the lady sold it. Man, she had everything new on it. I lucked out. It took me a year to figure out that the side button on the auto stick was the 'hold' button. Since after uselessly spending $500 to find it was a $15 problem, I haven't had any problems with it. It is now at about 155K, and I've had it for six years. I don't drive much, but I trusted the car to take me to the Grand Canyon and back. It has an 8" clearance. It was able to go up the winding Carr Canyon road after the monsoon season and it hasn't been stuck once. Blew out three old tires from the sharp rock, though. Now I have all four new tires. The fourth blow-out was my fault. I backed up on over a Mesquite tree base and put a six-inch piece of branch inside the tire!
