She's an eight out of ten
The 2014 Lincoln MKX is a great mid-sized SUV. The styling is attractive, and the Lincoln grill upfront is distinctive and helps to distinguish it from the similar Ford Edge. The version I bought has some great aftermarket rims and tires that add that certain pop to elevate the Lincoln above other SUVs. The interior finishes are classy and lean toward luxury. My riders always comment on the room in the back. There are plenty of cup holders and outlets for them. I am able to take three passengers and a dog in a large kennel without difficulty. I particularly like the panoramic sunroof and the cream and wood interior in my version. The ride is good, though the fancy tires do make the ride a little less plush then other SUVs. Handling and power are great, and I have no difficulty with passing or acceleration. The audio system is a bit quirky and defaults to the AM stations, which is a bit irritating. Also you cannot scroll through all your presets and have to push a button on the screen, which is a hassle. I have no difficulty using the voice activation system or my cell phone with the entertainment system. Navigation system is also voice activated, but I tend to use my phone anyway.

Feel like a CEO in it
I like how it is functional and sleek. The style is very sharp and classy. It just looks like a CEO is driving it! The quality is very nice, and it is durable. The only thing I don't like is it seems to have a hard time accelerating when you are at a traffic light. I don't like to have a car that sounds like it is straining to accelerate. It is a V6, so I wouldn't expect to have this type of problem. There is no engine problems that were diagnosed when I took it to the shop. The last point that I would like to mention is I like how spacy the vehicle is, much room for all of my belongings.

Very nice car, but not perfect
I really like the Lincoln MKX. It has all the bells and whistles. I like the blind spot feature. The car is attractive especially with the extra-large 22-inch wheels on my car. It has great power when driving. However, the ride is a bit stiff and bouncy, which may be more from the 22-inch nonstandard wheels then the actual ride. It handles well and gets the job done in terms of acceleration. The interior is lovely, though the sound system is a bit cumbersome to use, it is not intuitive. I don't like that the presets do not automatically move to the next set, forcing you to toggle from one group of presets to the next. The seats are way to firm for the trim of the car. The interior is very plush, but the leather seats seem hard and cheap for the overall fell of the car.
