The sporty ride did not disappoint
The sporty test drive on a curvy road told me everything I wanted to know - whether there was joy in the experience, and there was. The RX-8 has 4 seats, with suicide-style rear doors, and being a passenger in the back seat is no problem for an average-sized person. There was better view ability out the back windows versus other sporty vehicles I tested, a nice stereo system, cruise control for long drives, traction control to minimize wheel spin on slippery surfaces. Plus the car looks good and I loved the red color of the one I picked. But best of all it has a rotary engine, so a smooth power curve and less banging in the engine bay.

2006 Mazda RX8: A Real Ride
The 2006 Mazda Rx-8 was purchased as a used vehicle that had approximately 75,000 miles. I like the sleek design and aerodynamic curves of the RX-8. In addition, it is one of the only 4-seated sports cars that has unique doors. The door on the back of the vehicle opens outward to the left as opposed to how traditional doors open rightward; they are rear -hinged. The RX-8 came with a spoiler, automatic sun roof and lightly tinted windows. In addition, it was an automatic which is a plus because I am not a master at operating a 5-speed. This vehicle is excellent for highway driving especially around the curvy highways; it cuts corners with smooth precision. The vehicle hits the red line swiftly and isn't noisy or shaky. I test drove a Porsche 911 Carrera sometime before purchasing the RX-8, I must say that the Porsche was too noisy and the ride was not as smooth as the RX-8. The only thing that I didn't like about the RX-8 is the gas mileage; only 25 mpg.
