Used Mazda RX-8 for Sale

The look style and comfort of this car were all good and enjoyable. My RX-8 had bucket seats which i found to be very comfortable. There were 2 regular doors and 2 "suicide doors" which made the back seat more accessible but was still hard to get in and out of if you were not tiny and svelte. The trunk was decently spacious, but had a very small opening- so there were many things that could have probably fit in the trunk could you get them thru the opening. This car is very sporty and quick, it handles nicely and it fun to drive. The technology features available while driving were great; ex: paddle shifters on the wheel, cruise control, stereo and climate controls, etc. This car was somewhat of a gas guzzler; it only takes premium and gets around 20mpg. After 60k miles, it was in the ship about 5 times per year. In the 6 years i had this vehicle, i replaced the battery 4 times, went thru 2 engines (thank goodness it was under warranty), 2 alternators, 2 transmissions, and a series of small repairs like headlights, window motors, etc. And of course, with a rotary engine, this car is expensive to maintain (like premium oil and performance tires in addition to repair-like maintenance)!

Fun to drive doesn't even begin to cover it. The car handles like a dream. It lives for corners and hates going under 50mph. The interior is comfortable but the back seat is only for two, because there is a center console. It is, however, not the best on gas. It gets around 20 mpg, and it only takes premium.

For nearly a century, cars had been outfitted with heavy piston engines. That was, until Mazda came along. Mazda's 1.3 liter rotary 'Renesys' engine took the automotive world by storm. This tiny, 200lb engine makes an impressive 237 naturally aspirated horse power with just 1.3 liters of displacement. The engine is smooth all the way to its redline of 9000rpm. Power goes to the rear wheels via a buttery smooth six-speed manual transmission. The car has a 50/50 weight distribution and a limited slip differential, so the handling is superb. Overall, the best car I've ever owned.
