Love it
Love the new color - volcanic orange. Handles great and fun to drive - always puts me in a better mood when I go for a drive with the windows down, sunroof open, and tunes playing. I have owned the car for 2 years now and have not had a single problem. It has only been in the shop for recall items and scheduled maintenance. The free oil changes for 2 years is great, especially when the oil is so expensive. I love the power the turbo 6-speed has, it is the only motor I would want. I have driven a couple of non turbo automatics and was not at all impressed with the lack of power they have. My turbo 6-speed has plenty of power to get up and go, even when cruising 65 down the freeway I can step on it and it responds nicely. I have been able to avoid a couple of bad situations by getting the heck out of the way in a hurry! I live in the mountains and love the way it handles the curves, especially in sport mode - fun! The only bad thing I have noticed so far is a rattle in the back compartment I have not been able to track down yet.

Great car, fun to drive, good handling, good gas mileage.
I have had my MINI for about eight months, and I absolutely love it! I am not particularly knowledgeable about the technical aspects of cars, but I can speak to my own personal experience. The MINI is a beautiful little car with great style. It is peppy and fun to drive-- it accelerates well, responds well to turns, and brakes smoothly. I love the features like "Green" mode, which provides even better gas mileage (on a car that already has great gas mileage standard). There are lots of cool little design features, like lights that change colors. It also has many practical considerations in the design features-- like when you unlock the car with your remote, lights on the outside of the car illuminate the area around the car, making it easy to see at night or in an unlit garage. I love the "start engine" switch, which is an alternative to a traditional key start. It is so convenient when I'm in a hurry-- all you need is for the key to be within the car. I am also a big fan of the "stop/start" technology-- basically, when you come to a stop (like at a red light or stop sign) the engine shuts off, but remains in a "ready" state, so that it will start instantly when you take your foot off the brake. It's a seamless user experience, and it makes sure that you're not sitting and idling at a long light or in heavy traffic. This saves gas and is good for the environment!
