My Nissan Altima is one of the most reliable cars I've ever had. I've had it for 8 years and the only real issue I've had with it was the transmission and that was a recall issue. I brought it into the dealership and they replaced it free of charge and offered me a loaner until it was fixed. As long as you get regular service check ups I don't think you will have any problems with this car. I have 2 kids, 2 years apart, who are now teens and this car has grown with us.
