They had the best price for the car I was looking for. I had spent about a week on the telephone talking to all five local Nissan dealerships. The gentleman I worked with at Bill Kay was honest, did not run me around, and alerted me to possible scams that the other dealer may try to pull on me. In one specific case, he was absolutely right. He and I both knew that the dealer's job is to get me to come to the dealer so they can work on me. He understood that I understood that, and decided to work with me instead of against me. In the end, this won him my repeat business. On a side note, do everything on the phone for about a week, calling the dealers multiple times a day and returning phone calls. Beware of the line "come in and let's talk about it. " Do not go to a dealer unless you have some assurance (preferably a faxed contract) that the deal is done and the only reason you're going to the dealer is to sign papers. Secure your own financing and by all means, let the dealer try and match it. If you have a trade-in, get a quote from Car Max and do not trade it unless they match it. Don't show them the CarMax estimate. Finally, if you go in to sign the papers and anything. . ANYTHING is not what you agreed on the telephone, stand and leave. The salesmen, they get paid to be there. You don't get paid to be there, you're wasting your life and money being there, and would rather be somewhere else. They know this, and will use it to their advantage. My experience in this dealer was literally twenty minutes of signing papers, and it was by far my best car buying experience.

They had the exact car that I wanted. I spent about a week and a half calling every Nissan dealership that was within driving distance, comparing prices. When the gentlemen at Bill Kay and I reached an agreement, I told them that I was coming in to sign papers, and that if anything was different than what we discussed on the phone, I was going to walk. I was in-and-out in thirty minutes, all signing paperwork, no surprises. If you have a week and a half or so to invest in taking many phone calls and going back and forth a lot, this is the way to buy a car.
